 Today Mr.Rease was not here so we went to a sub classroom. We had to analyze 20 quotes, which nobody finished. But today was very chill without him being here. It was a very much needed free day. The poems & themes were almost the same.

 Today in class we read more of Emily Dickinson’s poems. They’re very good. One poem that stuck out today out of the two was “Success is counted sweetest.” This poem theme is to never give up because failure brings success.

 Today we talked more about losing our minds and mental illness. It’s better to talk your problems out instead of holding it in for a long time. It could affect your brain and best believe it’s not a good look.

   I think there is close to about 20% existence outside of Earth. Earth is very tiny in the picture. Since Earth is usually bigger in 3D diagrams so seeing it from Mars seemed odd. I didn’t know that a black hole would have a sound. It was a pretty odd sound, I expected it to be mute. I live in this universe and never realized how different things work outside of Earth.

 

Pathos: Having Friday as a free day would give students a break to catch up on work. Logos: Stress is usually caused from overwork. Since it’s the third week, students have been welcomed to plenty of work. They deserve to chill for a day. Ethos: As a student, this week has been very stressful. A free day Friday would be very appreciated.

 Today we watched a short film called “A Social Life” on youtube. The moral of the video is not to live your life based off of social media. The girl in the video would lie about what she was doing and would post on social media. This caused her to become addicted and would feel depressed if she didn’t get any notifications.

Poor people work the hardest. Once a person get rich, they tend to do less. But if you look at a poor person, they tend to over work themselves just to get money. A rich person could be laying on their couch watching tv, while a poor person is most likely working 9-5 to get by in life.

 Today we watched a very interesting, yet strange video called “The Elevator”. The short film made me think twice but it’s okay. I learned more about claims until class was cut short for a 11th grade class meeting. That meeting was very chaotic.

The purpose of life is to always cherish every moment you have. Both bad or good moments because life is short and you never know when your last breath is coming. For example, imagine you’re out with your friends and something bad happens. Yes this might be bad, but think about the amount of fun you were having. Always cherish it no matter what.

 Yesterday we learned more about informal & formal language. I realized how much informal language is used throughout the everyday life.
