 Today in Rease class, we started off by putting the desks in a large circle. I quickly had to remember my grade because it gave off 1st grade vibes. Later, we read a passage & did a rhetorical planning guide. Class was by far very boring, but i’m not surprised.

 Today in Rease class was pretty chill. We worked on a new rhetorical device, Sententia. Sententia is a word to the wise. For example: There are no gains without pains. We did exercise 1 & deciphered the quotes.

 Today we started off class with a quiz that I was very unprepared for. The quiz was about rhetoric devices & I didn’t know we was having one since I was out Friday. Do I have high hopes on the quiz results? Of course not, but it is what it is. After, we went over a rhetoric device called Eponym. It’s basically when you compare a famous person attributes to someone else. A example is: Dr. Ingram is the Queen Victoria of CGHS.

 Today in Mr. Rease class, we took notes and focused more on Rhetorical Devices. Devices such as diction, logos, ethos, etc. To get these devices, we used Donald Trumps Boarder Crisis Speech.

 My day officially started when we left the school around 12 to go to the cnn center. We ate, I ate chicken tenders lol. After eating, we went to world of coca cola & it was a fun experience. The tastes were very different. After, we ended up going to the basketball game, Hawks vs Pistons.

 Today we started off class taking notes on how to write a rhetorical analysis. We started focusing more on diction & syntax. For diction, we created a chart using words & examples for them: positive & negative. For syntax, we focused on a poem.

 Today in class we did rhetorical exercises. Of course I didn’t finish but the one I did complete was procatalepsis. Procatalepsis deals specifically with objections. We were told to create 5 examples and I was struggling real bad.

Today we started off class stating 5 things we learned about ourselves from yesterdays lesson. Mr. Rease was being funny saying how much of a phone crazed person I am lol! Then my phone kept going off proving his point. Throughout the class, we read an article called “Two Kinds” by Amy Tan. Its about a woman growing up as an Asian American. Thought the article, we created questions & answered them.

 Today we focused on another passage. This passage didn’t have a title but it seems to be about the Asian American community. We wrote some of the stereotypes about the Asian American community that everyone heard. A stereotype I heard is that they can’t see.  Later on in the class, we played 5 corners where each corner was a answer choice for a question.

 Today we analyzed an essay. The essay was called “I want a wife”. It seems to be targeted towards feminists. It was a great discussion so i’m not complaining but the stereotype for a wife is ridiculous. I’m probably going to stay independent lol!!

 Today in Mr. Rease class, we did our essay for our group projects. My original group is the social media group & we were instructed the parenting styles group. It was going okay but let me tell you, the sources were lowkey terrible! The sources were only used for the strict parents & my parents aren’t that strict for me to choose the strict parents side. This slowed down my time terribly because I was trying to find evidence to justify my claim. Then even worse that I cited the information wrong! Then I ran out of time and ended up only being on my second paragraph. That sucks!

 Today I left early to go to a doctors appointment so I have no clue what was going on in class.

 Today, we focused on our group sources & projects. Since I was out 3 days because of my NOLA trip. Therefore, I focused on my annotated bibliography to catch up.But the rest of the group worked on creating our question and choosing our main 7 sources,

 Today in Mr. Rease class we worked on a group assignment. The assignment was a claim “speed dating” assignment & my group consisted of Alexis & Ayat. The point of the assignment was to create a claim & use evidence from each group to improve your claim. 

 Today we left out around 8am to go to a navy base. We was in that hot sun for soooo long. It was also windy so that dirt was going everywhere. I learned a lot but i’m not going to list it because that’s a lot. We was there 9am-4pm & everybody was happy once we left. After, we went to a premium outlet & I splurged in rue 21. I bought a dress, some essential tops, & platform sandals. Lastly, we went to the cinema to watch creed 3 while some watched antman. Then we went back to the hotel & ended the night!

 Today was very eventful. We started the day off by finishing our drive to NOLA & we toured Dillard College & omg it was HOT!!! After the tour, we went to Tulane College to eat & the food was delicious. I had orange chicken & with shrimp fried rice. For drink, I drunk mango passionfruit refresher & it was okay. After, we went to Riverwalk Outlet & it barely had good stores. I only bought 2 shorts from forever 21 & an island mix with extra mango & pineapple from smoothie king. After, we went back to the hotel & that concluded our day.

 Today around 12:45, I departed from the school to my destination New Orleans. On the bus, we had Druid Hills & they’re very um… different. Different as in very loud & irritating!! One of them broke the seat arm rest. We got to the hotel/motel around 6. It’s 3 to a room, & our first room stunk soooooo bad. It smelled like pee & there was pubic hair in the tub so we demanded a room change, which we got. Now my group is on the top floor!!
